Yes. The UK government confirmed plug-in solar legalisation in March 2026, with full DIY plug-in use legal from July 2026.

❓ Is it safe?
800w is safe. It’s small enough not to overload UK circuits, big enough to provide useful electricity.
With the millions of installations in Germany there have been almost zero reported issues. The main worry is panels coming loose in a storm, but in the UK we know about wind!
The systems come with remote monitoring, if you want to subscribe for a monitoring service we can do that for you.
If you would like an electrician to check post installation we can arrange that (but it not necessary).
