Common issues and how to fix them

Common Issues

LED Colour Meaning Action
Green (solid) Generating normally No action needed
Green (flashing) Low-light generation Normal in early morning / late evening
Amber (solid) Initialising Wait 3 minutes. Normal on startup.
Amber (flashing) Grid not detected Check socket and fuse. See below.
Red (solid) Fault detected See fault codes below or contact us.
Off No power or no sunlight Check socket. Normal at night.

The LED won’t turn green
Check that the socket is switched on and working (test with another appliance). Check the AC cable is fully clicked into the microinverter port. Check that there is adequate sunlight reaching the panel — the system won’t generate at night or in very deep shade.

The system seems to have stopped generating
Check the LED colour. If the socket has tripped, reset the fuse in your consumer unit. Ensure the panel surface is clean — a film of dust or bird droppings can reduce output by 10–20%.

My meter hasn’t slowed down
Generation at 350–400W is subtle on a standard meter — you may not see it turning more slowly with the naked eye. Use a smart plug monitor for real-time data. Confirm the panel is receiving direct sunlight.

There’s an error code on the microinverter app
Open the app and tap the error code for a description. Most codes are resolved by unplugging the system, waiting 30 seconds, and plugging back in.

The cable doesn’t reach my socket
You can extend the system using our 5m or 10m outdoor extension cables (sold separately). Do not use indoor extension leads — these are not rated for outdoor or continuous use.
